Turning Engineering Data into Manufacturing Efficiency

Engineering data is often manually re-entered multiple times before reaching the shop floor, increasing errors and rework. At MF India 2026, Triad Software will showcase Impact360, a no-code platform that transforms design data into ready-to-use manufacturing information.

The inaugural edition of MF India offers Triad Software an opportunity to engage directly with Chennai’s automotive and aerospace supply chain. The company will use the platform to introduce its no-code automation platform Impact360 to regional and global OEMs, Tier suppliers, and high-mix manufacturers and demonstrate how automation built on design data can support rapid manufacturing growth.

“As Chennai’s first dedicated metal forming platform, MF India connects MSMEs and OEMs at exactly the moment they’re digitizing operations. We see it accelerating the adoption of accessible automation like Impact360, helping manufacturers compete on speed and accuracy without heavy IT investment, while giving OEMs confidence that their supply chain can scale reliably alongside India’s manufacturing growth,” says Kaaviyan Ramalingam, Senior Design Engineer, Triad Software Pvt Ltd.

Reducing Rework and Material Waste

While rising input material costs continue to put pressure on manufacturers, Ramalingam believes a significant amount of avoidable rework does not originate on the shop floor but from errors in transferring engineering information into manufacturing processes. Impact360 addresses this challenge by automating that critical step, automatically generating accurate feature information, tolerances, and manufacturing packages directly from design data.

“By eliminating manual re-entry and interpretation errors, the platform enables manufacturers to identify discrepancies before material is cut or formed, protecting throughput while reducing scrap associated with avoidable data-handling mistakes,” he explains.

The highlight of Triad Software’s participation will be Impact360, a no-code automation platform that transforms raw design data into ready-to-use manufacturing and quality outputs. For fabrication and tooling engineers, this means hole-feature reports, inspection packages, and quoting data are generated automatically, without waiting for engineering resources or CAD licences.

By eliminating the everyday bottleneck of manual data requests, Impact360 helps reduce production delays and shorten lead times, enabling manufacturers to move from design to production more efficiently.

Addressing the Manufacturing Skills Gap

Although Impact360 is not a shop-floor machinery product, it addresses another critical challenge facing manufacturers by reducing the dependency on specialized CAD and PLM skills. The no-code automation platform enables manufacturing, quality, and shop-floor teams to access engineering data, including dimensions, tolerances, and bills of materials (BOMs), without requiring CAD expertise.

By standardizing workflows and digitizing engineering knowledge, Impact360 enables less-experienced users to work more confidently, consistently, and independently, improving collaboration across manufacturing functions.
