Supporting Precision Metal Forming in South India

Advanex Toolings is participating in the inaugural edition of MF India to showcase its precision metal forming and machining capabilities while strengthening connections with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and manufacturers across South India.

Located in Ambattur, a major manufacturing hub, Advanex Toolings is exhibiting its precision metal forming and machining capabilities at MF India 2026. The exhibition provides the company with an opportunity to connect directly with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers while expanding its presence in the regional manufacturing market.

“Being a local manufacturer, we are supporting the inaugural edition of MF India that has the potential to act as a growth catalyst, enabling smaller machine shops to adopt modern automation, upgrade tooling capabilities, and integrate seamlessly into Tier-1 supply chains,” notes P Iyyappan Mohanraj, Proprietor, Advanex Toolings.

“MF India fills a critical void by providing a dedicated, focused platform for metal forming advancements in South India. For OEMs, it bridges the gap to world-class precision technology locally. For MSMEs, it acts as a growth catalyst, enabling smaller machine shops to adopt modern automation, upgrade tooling capabilities, and integrate seamlessly into Tier-1 supply chains.”

The company will be highlighting its Sodick ALN600G iGE+, a next-generation high-precision Wire EDM machine designed for manufacturing complex and ultra-accurate components. It combines Sodick’s advanced SPW (Smart Pulse Wire) Control, Smart Pulse Generator, and iGroove+ technology to achieve outstanding machining accuracy, superior surface finish, and high productivity.

Coping with Modern-day Challenges

With rising material costs becoming a key challenge for manufacturers, Advanex Toolings focuses on maximizing material utilization through precision tooling and high-speed multi-forming techniques.

By producing components directly within the available raw material size, the company significantly reduces scrap generation. “Combined with in-die image inspection systems, our tooling guarantees sub-micron repeatability, preventing defect generation and slashing scrap rates without compromising high-volume production output,” explains Mohanraj.

To address the shortage of skilled operators, Advanex Toolings incorporates intelligent features into its equipment to simplify operations and improve process consistency.

The company’s solutions combine real-time process monitoring with automated error-proofing, enabling operators to achieve high-precision results with minimal training. “This reduces setup times, eliminates manual guesswork, and allows shops to maintain strict quality standards regardless of operator experience,” shares Mohanraj.

Supporting the Metal Forming Ecosystem

According to the company, MF India provides a dedicated platform for the metal forming industry by bringing together technology providers, OEMs, and MSMEs under one roof. “For OEMs, it bridges the gap to world-class precision technology locally. For MSMEs, it acts as a growth catalyst, enabling smaller machine shops to adopt modern automation, upgrade tooling capabilities, and integrate seamlessly into Tier-1 supply chains,“ concludes Mohanraj.
